I can understand the populism and if engaging and being part of a solution to provide better opportunities is the key to progress then how does this part of the population get this? Not through partisan doomsday media outlets. Go and meet your local member regardless of party is a start.
Thanks Jonathan. At times like this, when truth is engulfed in an avalanche of grievance and verbal sewage and you must at times listen even to family and friends talk rubbish with conviction and righteous zeal, it's good to know your not alone.

I’m not a Deplorable nor a One Nation, MAGA, Reform supporter but I understand why so many people are these days. Liberal Democracy in the Western World. All the G20 and OECD Governments, well maybe with one or two exceptions, rule for the 10%, but mainly the 1%. Whether the government is left, centre or right all the decisions favour the 1%. Which leaves 90% of voters believing the system is broken. So they look to The Reform Party, MAGA, or One Nation to bring the system down. I low and you know that will not happen. Those movements are controlled snake oil salesmen or, in Australia’s case, a snake woman. They don’t care they just want to bring down the parties and coalitions that have abandoned them with the rise of economic rationalism/managerialism/liberal economics/Chicago School of Economics to which the elites are enthralled.
